Both Jim and Suzie are writers for ABC in L.A. Suzie is currently writing for "Last Man Standing" on ABC and Jim is currently writing a pilot project for ABC.

Laura Shelton Freeman Young, born 1974. Laura and husband, Paul Young, live in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey and they have 2 children, Henry 6 and Annabelle 2. Laura works for HBO in New York City as Director of Corporate Affairs and Paul is Vice-President and Project Manager for Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Kathy and I returned home in 2000 and we are now living in Lake Wylie, South Carolina in my family home on "the river" (as we fondly used to refer to it). I served in the USAF for 24 years as an Aerospace Physiologist, so we spent a great deal of our time living and traveling in the United States and we were fortunate enough to spend 6 years of duty living in Wiesbaden, Germany. That was a great experience for us and our two children, Jim and Laura. Our last duty station was to Norton AFB in San Bernardino, California, where I served as the human factors aircraft accident investigator and consultant to the Air Force Surgeon General. After officially retiring from the Air Force in 1993, I worked on and received a California teaching credential and began my second career as a Biology teacher at San Bernardino High School. When Kathy and I returned home in 2000, I taught Honors Biology and college credit courses in Anatomy and Physiology at Northwestern High School in Rock Hill, South Carolina. I enjoyed my teaching career very much, but am happily retired now and spend my time gardening, fishing and visiting my 4 grandchildren. Kathy and I are very fortunate to have our Mothers, Helen Cloninger(96 years of age) and Annette Freeman (93 years of age) living at nearby Covenant Village in Gastonia, N.C. and are able to see them often.

Dear Classmates! We have been looking forward to our 70th birthday celebration! Jim has recently had eye surgery (October 5th) and is not feeling well. We will not be attending on Saturday, but hope all of you have a wonderful reunion and a great time! We will be thinking of you! Jim and Kathy
