Gastonia - Herbert Wylie Estes, Jr., 56, 138 Anne Neely Road, died April 7, 2000 at home.  He was a native of York County, son of the late Herbert and Irene Sullivan Estes, Sr., Army vetern of Vietnam War. SURVIVORS: Wife, Judy Brown estes; son, Jason Estes, Cape Coral Fla.; daughter, Sharon Hicks, Indianoapolis, Ind.; Sisters, Joyce Holman, Gastonia, Betty Henderson, Charlotte; grandchildren, Alexander and Juliana Hicks; several nieces and nephews.  BURIAL: Olney Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Gastonia, NC.
