Obituary
Fort Mill – Mrs. Patricia Carolyn Hill Lester, 75, died Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at Piedmont Hospital.
Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Monday, June 15, 2020 at Palmetto Funeral Home.
A native of Gastonia, NC Mrs. Lester was a daughter of the late Oren Guy Hill and Betty Carol Crapps Hill. She was a vibrant, kind, and caring mother and grandparent. She loved to be happy and make others around her feel comfortable and content. Patricia loved cooking, reading, gardening, and showing love for her animals Nellie and Milo. She will be sorely missed and will always be remembered by her family and friends."
Surviving are her two sons, Mark Lester, and his wife, Julie and her other son, Dan Lester; and two granddaughters, Mary and Charie Anne. Preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Hill.
Palmetto Funeral Home is serving the family.

Pat lived in my neighborhood of Gardner Park. I delivered their morning paper for four years. When I would see her on collection days, she was always sweet and friendly, one of those genuinely nice people. I am sorry to hear of her passing. I was so sorry to hear about Pat's passing. Pat and I were great friends in high school and she was in my wedding. She was always smilling and saying funny things that made everyone around her laugh. My prayers are with the family during this adjustment time without her.
