School Story

I attended Central School in grades 1-6 (1951-1957) and Wray Junior High School in grades 7-8. My family moved to Columbia, SC when I was in the 8th grade (1959).

As I recall my teachers were 1st Stowe, 2nd Braswell, 3rd Herschberger, 4th Brandon, 5th Brown, 6th Barnes.

I graduated from University High School in (1963) Columbia, SC, received a BA from the University of South Carolina in 1972, and an MEd from Clemson University in 1974.
